We share and interact with others knowing that we speak for ourselves, owning what we say as our own words. Pride Community Center uses social media, this site, and linktree to promote the events we are involved in, co-hosting, or originating in the Brazos Valley area.

We are a grassroots organization made up of dedicated community members devoting time, energy, and support…come and help! We will embrace, affirm, and welcome all. Our Mission The mission of the Pride Community Center of North Central Florida is to foster and enhance the well-being and visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people and people of other gender and sexual minorities, and to promote public understanding and affirmation of people of all gender expressions and sexual orientations, inclusive of race, ethnic.

Today, leadership of the organization rests with the board of directors and the volunteer executive director and staff. We are committed to end injustice as we see it, and to band together to advocate for those without a voice.

JUSTICE : We will work to speak out against oppression, to work against violations of dignity and violations of integrity enacted on others. To provide a safe place for personal of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions, their families and friends to meet and socialize without having to worry about who they are.

Pride Community Center: This center empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people to healthy and successful lives while building a strong community that celebrates diversity and advocates for justice and opportunity

The organization is guided by an engaged board of directors that provides wisdom, oversight, and support. Our Goal Pride Community Center seeks to build community, provide resources and services, offer education and outreach, and more! Such operational duties include fielding phone calls, emails and expressed needs of the local community.

Pride seeks to enable the creation of self sustaining, eco-friendly, technology-driven, community spaces that are the pride of the local community, accessible to all community members and serve as a physical platform enabling community building, skills development & recreational activities.

It also provides outreach and education to the public at large which will 1 lead to greater safety, comfort; understanding and respect for all, 2 lessen social tension, and 3 promote harmony between the Community and the citizenry as a whole.

We will celebrate the gift of diversity and we will celebrate the ever broadening boundaries of our community.
