Can a gay person go to heaven
This is repentance. Do you fall into this group? If he or she believes he can turn to Jesus and continue on in unrepentant sin, he is mistaken. However, if we come to Christ unwilling to turn from sin, we cannot have a saving relationship with Him. Looking at repentance in regards to homosexuality, the Bible clearly says that homosexuality is a sin Lev Lev Rom1 Tim 1 Kin Deut If a homosexual wants a personal, saving relationship with Jesus, he must be willing to turn from this sin.
Only God can ultimately know if a person is saved or not. Jesus’ offer of salvation is open to everyone. We must be at war with them.
And, continuing in Gal some other acts include: witchcraft, hatred, wrath, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, envying, and carousing. For the sake of space, I will not go through the steps. However, many other people are in this group as well: fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, sodomites, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners.
We must HATE our sins. We must also feel great sorrow and remorse for our sins, and be willing to turn from them, forsake them, and go in a new direction with our lives. This is the sign of a true Christian: confession of sin and repentance. A gay or homosexual person can accept Christ, just as an alcoholic, a drug addict, or a mass-murderer can accept Christ.
Gay people go to either heaven or hell on the same basis that drunkards, liars, haters, and self-righteous church people go to either heaven or hell. Jesus, while on the Earth, was tempted in all ways just like we are Heb Heb but did not give into the temptations, and was without sin.
Biblical explanation of how God sees practicing homosexuals and what gets them into heaven. Can a practicing homosexual get into heaven if they don't stop? Of course, if a person has surrendered his or her life to Jesus Christ and accepted what the Bible says a person must do to be saved, then that person WILL be saved.
The same thing is true for ANY sin!
Will gay and LGBTQI : Scripture consistently presents God’s character as both perfectly holy and immeasurably gracious
Repentance and salvation are connected over and over Acts Mk 2 Cor Mt Heb In coming to Jesus, we must ALL admit that we are sinners, and we need His sacrificial payment for our sins. Our final destination depends not on what we’ve done but on how we responded to Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf.
Please see: Jesus Died For You! According to the Bible, a key step in salvation is repentance. If we are willing to turn, God will help us. Again though, this applies to ALL sins. Unrepentant sinners will die in their sin and be judged accordingly. If a person says they are saved, and they are practicing unrepentant sin, the Bible calls them a liar 1 Jn Also see: 1 Jn1 JnHebTitus We will be miserable!
